Frequently asked questions
Event photography pricing varies based on the length of coverage, event size, location, and specific photography needs. Every event is different, so Galvez Photography provides a customized proposal based on the scope of your event and the level of coverage required.
Booking as early as possible is recommended, particularly for weekends, conferences, corporate events, and high-demand dates in Orange County. Many clients reserve photography several weeks or months in advance, although last-minute availability may occasionally be possible.
The right amount of coverage depends on your event schedule and the moments you want documented. Smaller gatherings may only require a few hours, while conferences, corporate events, galas, and larger productions often benefit from half-day or full-day coverage. We can help determine the appropriate amount of coverage based on your event timeline.
Yes. Additional coverage can often be added before the event or, when availability allows, on the day of the event. For events with flexible schedules, building a little additional time into the original coverage can help ensure important moments are not rushed.
A 50% retainer is required to officially reserve your event date. Any payment schedule, retainer requirements, and remaining balance will be clearly outlined in your proposal before booking.
To prepare an accurate proposal, it is helpful to know your event date, location, approximate guest count, desired photography hours, event type, and any specific coverage requirements. Providing an event timeline or schedule is also helpful when available.
